The Shaker system
Kvadrat and Raf Simons introduce a new chapter of their collaboration at 10 Corso Como. The Shaker system reflects a new kind of home living, a contemporary concept where beauty is synonymous of order.
Drawing inspiration from American Shaker culture Raf Simons designed with Kvadrat a storage system and a range of accessories honouring utility, function and rethinking materiality.
As part of this scenography the wooden rafters and the accessories, which range from textile bags, caps and slippers, soft woollen throws and cushions, to leather-clad mirror trays and boxes, tote bags and keychains.
A view of the whole house to make a uniform family of accessories based on the power of unity: one system, one colour, one textile.
