THE 5 ITALIAN PRIZEWINNING PHOTOREPORTERS
On the occasion of the 2nd edition of the Milano Photo Week ,
5 Italian stars of photojournalism selected by the international jury of the
World Press Photo 2018 among 73.044 pictures coming from 125 different countries,
yesterday talk at the Galleria Carla Sozzani.
Introduced by Denis Curti, editor in chief of Il Fotografo magazine,
all of the five Italian World Press Photo 2018 prizewinners:
Giulio Di Sturco, with More Than a Woman, cathegory Contemporary Issues, 2° Prize;
Luca Locatelli, with Hunger Solutions, cathegory Environment, 2° Prize;
Alessio Mamo, with Manal, cathegory People, 2° Prize;
Francesco Pistilli, with Lives in Limbo, cathegory General News, 3° Prize;
Fausto Podavini, with Omo Change, cathegory Long Term Project, 2° Prize.
