The anti-pop ceramics of Massimo Giacon belong to the family of
Superego Editions “The Pop will eat himself“.
Their names sound like the words of the comic streeps:
“Dodo”, “Conigliesco (coniglio-rabbit) + teschio-skull)”, “In bocca al lupo/ Good luck”,
“End of the story”, and their colors come directly from the world of toys.
But, as Giacon says, ” just as objects, they might lose a little of their anguish in the hope
to find someone who will love them for what they are, despite what they are.”
Now available at 10 Corso Como.
