Nobuyoshi Araki: Akt-Tokyo. 1971-1991, A publication that accompanied the exhibition with the same name,
Araki’s first individual show outside Japan and his very first exhibition of retrospective character.

A book that brings together Araki’s language of photography and his games of Kanji
(Japanese logographic characters) painted directly onto both the surfaces of explicit nudes
and floral compositions
raising the stakes of the symbolic associations between flowers and sexuality.
