The Venetian Glass Bead Game Galleria Carla Sozzani-001

Pleasant talking yesterday at the Galleria Carla Sozzani
to present the new book “The Venetian Glass Bead Game” published by Rizzoli Lizard
under the editorial supervision of Simone Romani.
Everybody was fascinated by the words of the writer Marco Steiner,
the photos of Marco D’Anna, and the presence of Gianni Berengo Gardin,
a master of photography and an author of this book, a Venetian adventure in the quest
of Corto Maltese and Hugo Pratt.

From a common idea of Courrèges & MARFA JOURNAL
this book invites you to travel alongside a group of friends as they go on a MARFABULOUS trip
from the Courrèges Paris flagship store on to the house’s factory in the Pyrenees mountains to London’s Kentish Town,
then further a eld to far-off climes and more far-out experiences.

In celebration of creative directors Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer’s
first year at the helm of the Courrèges house, the project is looking at the concept of a brand from an alternative angle,
keeping in mind what’s most important: freedom and fun.
