The new exhibition “La Folie pratique” at Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris is another magnificent homage to the works of Piero Fornasetti and the creativity of his son Barnaba. Every time is like seeing the work for the first time, always surprising.
A beautiful gift – “pièces de viole” by Marin Marais. This is music I look forward to discover. French composer and viol player Marin Marais was hired as a musician at Versailles. He was an important composer in the court of Louis XIV and the music was used in a movie about his later life. Tous les Matins du Monde was made in 1991 with Gérard Depardieu in the title role as the aging Marais and this music sets the mood.
