In 1970 the long march of the Earth Day started to engage people on environmental issues,
trying to channel their energies and knowledge to a style of life more sustainable.
Earth Day moves closer to its 50th anniversary and it involves more than 193 nations in the world through
22.000 institutions by year. It is now a green army made by trees that help combat climate change,
help us breathe clean air, absorb odors and pollutant gases, help communities.
Earth Day will continue on Sunday 24th in all the major capital cities around the world.
To celebrate, please, plant your tree.
